Jean-Yves Ollivier appointed Commander of the National Order of the Lion

On November 17 in Paris, H.E. El Hadji Magatte Seye, Ambassador of Senegal to France, presented Jean-Yves Ollivier, international mediator and Founding Chairman of the Brazzaville Foundation, with the insignia of the National Order of the Lion.

The National Order of the Lion of Senegal is Senegal's highest distinction, honoring commitments and actions in favor of peace. At the time of his nomination in April 2020, the Senegalese newspaper Le Soleil highlighted Jean-Yves Ollivier's work in facilitating intra-Libyan dialogue via Brazzaville Foundation.
