A prefiguration study for the Fonds Bleu

20180313-Prefiguration-F2BC

On March 12, 2018, the Congolese Minister of the Environment and her Moroccan counterpart chaired an ad hoc coordination meeting in Rabat, at the end of which the experts present agreed on the terms of reference of a prefiguration study of the Blue Fund detailing 6 months of preparatory work. This study will provide key recommendations on financing, operational management and strategic governance of the Blue Fund as well as a first draft investment plan. The Brazzaville Foundation, present at the working session as "initiator" of the initiative, welcomes this important step. It is another step towards the full realisation of the Congo Basin Blue Fund.
