Falsified medicines: WHO Chief Executive reiterates its support for the Lomé Initiative
22 August, in Lome (Togo) - Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Chief Executive of the World Health Organization (WHO), praised the efforts of African leaders to protect the health of populations at the opening ceremony of the 72nd WHO Regional Committee for Africa.

He is among the high-level personalities taking part in the side event organised organized by the Togolese Ministry of Health, the WHO Africa Regional Office and Brazzaville Foundation on Tuesday August 23: "Fighting medicines that kill in Africa: a collaborative and integrated approach".
