Richard Amalvy has been a leader of several international NGOs and has co-developed peace programs in the Great Lakes region of Africa, the Middle East and the former Yugoslavia. He was a consultant in Youth Policy for the World Bank and in Public and General Affairs for the OECD, and was a Director of the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe and Vice President of the Conference of NGOs at the United Nations. He teaches management of organisations at the Ecole des Hautes Etudes Internationales et Politiques (HEIP) in Paris.
