18 July 2020, a day to remember Mandela
Every year on 18 July, the United Nations invites us to mark Nelson Mandela International Day by taking positive action in our communities. Everyone has the ability and responsibility to change the world for the better! Nelson Mandela Day is an opportunity for everyone to take action and be a change maker. For Brazzaville Foundation, it is an opportunity to be inspired in mediation.

To celebrate this day, we invite you to discover the documentary Plot for Peace. It reveals the story of the "conspiracy" that led to the release of Nelson Mandela. For the first time, heads of state, generals, diplomats, spymasters and anti-apartheid fighters reveal how African countries on the "front line" contributed to the end of apartheid. A mysterious French businessman was at the heart of the negotiations that brought peace to southern Africa and paved the way for the new South Africa. His code name: "Monsieur Jacques".
In agreement with the film's producer, we're offering you free access to the documentary screening.
