Graduation Ceremony 2025 at the Sorbonne: A Class Under the Patronage of Jean-Yves Ollivier
At the graduation ceremony for the 2024–2025 Bachelor’s degree in Economics at the Sorbonne School of Economics, nearly 550 graduates were honored in the prestigious setting of the Sorbonne’s Grand Amphitheater.
This highlight of the academic year brought together more than 850 people, including graduating students, their families, faculty members, staff from the Sorbonne School of Economics, and several guests.
The event was under the patronage of Mr. Jean-Yves Ollivier, Founding Chairman of the Brazzaville Foundation. In his remarks, he emphasised the importance of commitment, dialogue, and international openness in the education and support of new generations. In his view, in the face of a world of shadows and uncertainties, the true imperative is this: “do not look away.”
The ceremony was also attended by Prince Michael of Kent, the Foundation’s Royal Patron, Professor Lee White, and Dr. Zinhle Mandela-Dlamini.
As stated by its Chief Executive, Mr. Foulo BASSE, the Foundation is proud to have supported this ceremony, in keeping with its core values.
