Sidiki Kaba

Former Prime Minister of Senegal

A lawyer registered with the Senegal Bar and a statesman, Sidiki Kaba has served as Minister of Justice and Keeper of the Seals, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Minister of the Armed Forces and Minister of the Interior, before becoming Prime Minister of Senegal in 2024.

A former President of the International Federation for Human Rights (FIDH) and of the Assembly of States Parties to the International Criminal Court, he is widely recognised for his commitment to justice, democracy and human rights.

His career has earned him numerous honorary distinctions, including Commander of the Legion of Honour (France), Grand Officer of the Order of Merit of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Commander of the National Order of the Lion (Senegal), Honorary Citizen of Quito (Ecuador) and Knight of the National Order of Mali.
