Jean-Louis Bruguière
Former French judge specialised in the fight against terrorism
A distinguished former French judge internationally known for his work on antiterrorism cases, Jean-Louis Bruguière was the first vice-president of the Paris tribunal de grande instance where he coordinated the antiterrorist unit. Appointed by the European Union as part of an audit for a US financial intelligence programme (TFTP), he is, amongst his various commitments, a member of the Chertoff Group’s Advisory Board and helps the Foundation in its work on falsified and substandard medicines.
