Plot for Peace enters the United Nations archives

Plot for Peace - the documentary that tells the story of the "plot" that led to Nelson Mandela's release and in which Jean-Yves Ollivier, aka "Monsieur Jacques", played a key role - was screened on May 26, 2015 at the United Nations headquarters.

Numerous UN diplomats and personalities attended the screening, including Ambassadors Ismael A. Gaspar Martin, François Balumuene, Mamadou Tangara and Caleb Otto, respectively Permanent Representatives of the Republics of Angola, Congo, Gambia and Palau to the UN, and Pierre Oba, Minister of Mines and Geology for the Republic of Congo.

 

The screening took place as part of "Africa Week" at the United Nations headquarters in New York. Following the screening, Plot for Peace was integrated into the United Nations archives.
