Board of Trustees: two new trustees, 2023 review and 2024 orientations

5 January, Marrakech - The Board of Trustees of the Brazzaville Foundation met to welcome two new trustees, Professor François Tron  and Mr Olivier Armand, review the year 2023 and approve the strategic, operational and budgetary orientations for 2024.

Professor François Tron, a specialist in immunology and a former member of the French Ministry of Health Commission for the Authorisation of Medicines Markets, joins the team to bring additional expertise to support the public health programme to fight against medicines that kill in Africa, the Lomé Initiative.

 

Olivier Armand, a legal specialist, has advised major players in key sectors such as industry, pharmaceutical laboratories and energy. Now legal director of NGEN, a Slovenian company specialising in the storage and marketing of electricity, his expertise will help to strengthen the legal and strategic aspects of operations.

 

During the meeting, the Board took time to review the year 2023. This review provided an opportunity to assess the operations and challenges encountered during the year, and then to approve the strategic and budgetary orientations for 2024.
