The Brazzaville Foundation was represented at the Consultative Forum organised by GIABA, the Intergovernmental Action Group against Money Laundering in West Africa, in Lomé on 26 and 28 June 26. Speaking with a group of experts on the financing of terrorism, Oliver Scutt, member of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, drew attention to the growing involvement of trafficking of falsified medicines in this financing, and welcomed the new initiative launched by five West African presidents with the Foundation's support to criminalize this trafficking and impose severe penal sanctions.
