Tribute to Dr Faustine Englebert Ndugulile: A source of inspiration and dedicated commitment
It is with deep sadness that the Brazzaville Foundation and its members have learned of the passing of Dr Faustine Englebert Ndugulile, former Tanzanian Deputy Minister of Health and World Health Organization (WHO) elected Regional Director for Africa. This premature departure deprives the continent of a courageous voice and a key player in development and public health in Africa.
The Brazzaville Foundation's Chief Executive had the honor of meeting Dr. Ndugulile last August in Brazzaville, on the occasion of his appointment as WHO Regional Director for Africa. The meeting was marked by the depth of his ideas, the clarity of his vision and his passionate commitment to improving healthcare systems across the continent.
The Brazzaville Foundation pays tribute to the memory of an exceptional man, and extends its sincerest condolences to his family and friends, and to all those who had the privilege of working alongside him.
