Ukraine-Russia African Peace Mission : Interview with President Macky Sall
The Brazzaville Foundation is pleased to share the interview granted by His Excellency Mr. Macky Sall, former President of the Republic of Senegal, to H5 Motivation on September 28, 2025. In this conversation, President Sall discusses the crucial peace mission undertaken in 2023 to meet Presidents Vladimir Putin in St. Petersburg and Volodymyr Zelensky in Kyiv, highlighting the spirit of dialogue and responsibility that guided this initiative launched by the Brazzaville Foundation.
This endeavor, which brought together seven African Heads of State, remains an exemplary illustration of the Foundation’s and Africa’s commitment to dialogue, mediation, and the pursuit of peaceful solutions to international conflicts. It embodies an African approach that offers the parties a dignified path forward, where no one loses face.
