Russia-Ukraine Dialogue: Towards a new African Peace Mission
16 July, London - South African Foreign Minister Ronald Lamola has announced that African leaders may soon return to Ukraine and Russia to continue mediation efforts. The statement was made on the sidelines of a meeting with his British counterpart David Lammy. It comes as one of the results of the first African peace mission led in June 2023, which aimed to open up new opportunities for dialogue and find a peaceful solution to the conflict.
