At the Board of Trustees meeting on 15 September, HRH Prince Michael of Kent and Mr. Jean-Yves Ollivier, Founding Chairman, welcomed Mrs. Martine Chayriguès (France), Mr. Tim Perry (United Kingdom) and Mr. Kishore Sakhrani (Canada) as new trustees of Brazzaville Foundation.

In line with the requirements of the Charity Commission and current NGO practice in the UK, the Board of Trustees plays a key role in the governance of Brazzaville Foundation. It ensures that the organization is managed efficiently and that its mission, as defined in its articles of association, is fulfilled.

Reinforcing the skills of the Board, these three personalities will share their expertise in communications strategy (Martine Chayriguès), law (Tim Perry) and business management (Kishore Sakhrani).

The meeting also provided an opportunity to extend warm thanks to Oliver Scutt (United Kingdom), who has stepped down as a trustee. His invaluable support, particularly in legal matters, and his presence at numerous thematic activities have been much appreciated over the past two years. He will remain active among the Friends of the Foundation. The other two trustees present at this first meeting were Mr Charles Carr, Treasurer (United Kingdom), and Mr Nicholas Chance (United Kingdom).
