Participation of Jean-Yves Ollivier in the Rhodes Forum 2018
The Brazzaville Foundation was honored to participate in the 2018 Rhodes Forum organised by the Dialogue of civilizations Research Institute.

Our President, Jean-Yves Ollivier, was invited to discuss the role of the private sector and foundations in promoting intercultural dialogue. He expressed his feelings, during the second day of the Forum, on the perception of the African continent in relation to the rest of the world. He spoke on the panel "Engaging in a better dialogue with Africa, towards a more harmonious development of the continent" in the presence of former Malian President Dioncounda Traoré and former Guinean Prime Minister Ibrahima Kassory Fofana. He recalled the importance of no longer imposing preconceived Western models in order to accompany African states in the establishment of governance mechanisms adapted to the traditions and realities of the countries.
