On 31 July 2026, the Brazzaville Foundation presented the Togolese government with a substantial donation of medical supplies consisting of four 40-foot containers. The donation, which was received by the Ministry of Health, is intended to meet the needs of hospitals and healthcare facilities across the country.

This initiative is part of the Brazzaville Foundation ’s long-standing commitment to strengthening health systems in Africa. It follows the workshop held on 28 and 29 July in Kpalimé, which focused on combating substandard and counterfeit medical products and to which the Foundation actively contributed.

On this occasion, Mr. Foulo Basse, Chief Executive of the Brazzaville Foundation, emphasised that this initiative was just the first step. Feedback from beneficiaries and partners will help shape future interventions, with the goal of developing an inventory of needs to provide increasingly targeted solutions to healthcare facilities.

Mr. Ibrahima Diawadoh N’Jim, advisor to Founding Chairman Jean-Yves Ollivier, reaffirmed the Foundation’s commitment to continuing its cooperation with the Togolese authorities in order to help strengthen healthcare services for the benefit of the population in a sustainable manner.
