Handover at the Togolese Ministry of Health: Thanks to Prof. Mijiyawa and support for Prof. Darré

The Togolese government opens a new chapter with the appointment of Prof. Tchin Darré as Minister of Health and Public Hygiene, by presidential decree of 20 August 2024, succeeding Prof. Moustafa Mijiyawa.

We would like to express our deep gratitude to Prof. Mijiyawa for his years of dedicated service, marked by significant advances in the Togolese healthcare system and his constant commitment to collaboration with the Foundation.

 

We wish Prof. Darré every success in his new role, and reaffirm our support for continuing to strengthen public health in Togo, notably through the Lomé Initiative against substandard and falsified medical products.
