The Brazzaville Foundation organised website hosted a meeting to discuss future action on the trafficking counterfeit medicines issue. Discussions raised the need for legislation to criminalize sales, more repressive penalties and a new approach to strict enforcement. The latter should be achieved through close collaboration between the Ministries of Health, the Interior and Justice, also involving the police and customs.
